How to pick a great touchscreen laptop
While touchscreen laptops are becoming more and more common, that doesn’t mean that you can just buy the first one you see and it will be the best and last laptop you ever buy. To help make shopping a bit easier, we thought we should offer some tips on how to pick a great touchscreen laptop
Operating System
When it comes to the operating system on a touchscreen laptop, if you’re a fan of Apple’s macOS, you’re out of luck as Apple hasn’t released a touchscreen laptop yet. With options using either Windows or Android operating systems, it can narrow down which one you ultimately choose if you are more familiar with one over the other.
Screen Size
Having a good-sized screen can be especially beneficial depending on the type of work you’re doing. If you’re doing any kind of editing or graphic design, having a larger screen can be beneficial when working. Although you don’t want to have a screen that is too big and becomes a bulky, heavy burden to carry around.
Resolution
Many new touchscreen laptops have resolutions of 4K which can make everything look amazing with extreme picture quality and color clarity. This can make some laptops expensive. If these are outside your budget, a laptop with Full HD 1080p resolution may not look as nice as 4K but will still give you amazing picture and video quality.
Price
The pricing for touchscreen laptops can cover a wide range of different options. Whether you spend more than $1,000 or only $500, whatever your budget is, there is a great high-quality touchscreen laptop out there that fits the needs you’re searching for.
