You can also check reviews or search for the companies name to see any issues that consumers have had.
Price
The price of many smart devices can vary greatly from $50 and up. The important thing to do when you start shopping is to set a price point you are looking to spend and the importance that the device will have. For example, if you’re looking for a smart thermostat, the device will save your heating and cooling costs to make the price you pay worth it.
Hub or Direct
Many people don’t realize that some smart devices require the use of a hub to connect to the internet while others can connect directly through your Wi-Fi network.
